This Privacy Policy explains how Go Toyio Toys Design & Consulting ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit this website ("Site") and play the Shabaka game ("Game"). It is governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain, including the Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 30 of 2018).

1. Who we are

2. What we collect on this Site

This Site is purely informational. We do not require accounts and do not collect personal data here, except:

  • Standard server logs — IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps. Used to keep the Site secure and operational.
  • Analytics — anonymized usage data via Google Analytics, used to understand which pages are useful.

3. What the Game collects

When you click "Play now" you are taken to the Shabaka game environment. The Game collects only what's needed to run a session: a temporary nickname you choose, a room code, and gameplay events. Payment of 600 fils (0.600 BD) per game is processed by Tap Payments, who handles your card details under their own privacy terms — we never see or store full card numbers.

4. Cookies

We use minimal essential cookies (or local storage) for things like remembering your language preference and analytics. You can clear them at any time from your browser settings.

5. Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share limited information only with:

  • Our payment processor, Tap Payments, to take payment for game sessions.
  • Our analytics provider, Google Analytics, in anonymized form.
  • Authorities, where required by Bahraini law.

6. Your rights

Under Bahrain's Personal Data Protection Law you have the right to:

  • Request access to personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.

To exercise any of these rights, email play@gotoyio.com. We respond within 5–7 business days.

7. Retention

Server logs and analytics are retained for up to 12 months. Game session data is deleted after the session ends. Payment records are retained as required by Bahraini tax and accounting law.

8. Children

Shabaka is intended for players aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect any change. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site for at least 14 days.
